Turley House
This Queen Anne style house was built in 1893 for Anne Wallace Walters (1830-1903), widow of Singleton P. Walters, one of the principal benefactors of Central University. The house is named after R. E. Turley, Sr. (1863-1933), former member of the Board of Trustees of Walters Collegiate Institute and the first treasurer of Eastern. The Turley House once served as the home management house for the Department of Home Economics. The Offices of Student Support Services, and Student Judicial Services are all located here now. |
