Once a woman's residence hall that housed some 572 women, mostly freshman, the hall is named for Mrs. Emma Case, a former dean of women. At this time, Case Hall is an air-conditioned four-story building housing 169 women and men. Centrally located, each floor contains shampoo rooms and community bath areas and provides spacious double and single occupancy rooms. The hall, built in 1961, has study rooms, a laundry room, a kitchen with a microwave oven, a television and recreation room, a large lobby area and a non smoking floor .
