Funderburk Building
Completed in 1994, the Funderburk Building was named in honor of Eastern's
eighth president,
Dr. Hanly Funderburk.
The 92,000-square-foot building, which is connected to the
Stratton Building, features:
- a telecommunications training center;
- computerized Firearms Training System;
- Laboratories for forensic and breath test instruction;
- a modern fitness and exercise room;
- modern classrooms, offices, and conference rooms.
The Department of Criminal Justice Training (Kentucky Justice Cabinet) is located
in the Funderburk building.
