Greg Adams Tennis Complex

The Greg Adams Tennis Complex is named for Gregory Sullivan Adams, a former EKU student, who at the age of 16, representing Madison Central High School, won the 1974 Kentucky State Singles Championship. Shortly after this Greg suffered an athletic injury that ended his tennis career. The tennis complex, constructed in 1977, contains four indoor tennis courts, lockers and a viewing deck. The EKU men's and women's varsity tennis teams, coached by Rob Oertel, use the facility for practice, tournaments and dual match play. The 2,400 square foot structure is also used for recreational play, instruction and in-service activities. For information on open court times call 622-2144.
