Keene Hall, an air-conditioned mens dormitory, is named to honor William L. Keene, former professor of English, who ended 39 years of service on the Eastern faculty in 1965. The 16-story brick dorm was built in 1969 and contains 308 rooms which will accommodate 582 men. The hall has three elevators, a community bath on each floor, a laundry room, two television lounges, and computer terminals.
