Keith Building
The Keith Building was named to honor Dr. and Mrs. Charles Alexander Keith. Dr. Keith was Dean of Men and Chairman of Social Sciences. He served Eastern for more than forty years. He was also a Rhodes Scholar and a Major League Baseball pitcher. Mrs. Keith, as Director of Men's residences, graciously oversaw the living environment of the students. The Keith Building was built in 1955 and houses the Department of History, and the Department of Anthropology, Sociology and Social Work. Also housed in the Keith Building are Academic Testing, the Credit Union, and the Athletic Academic Counseling Office. |
