Perkins Building
The Perkins Building is named for Congressman Carl D. Perkins from the Seventh Congressional District of Kentucky, an outspoken advocate of student aid programs, including federal scholarships, work study and student loans. The building, constructed in 1980, is a multi-purpose three-story, brick structure, designed for public use as a complete conference center and site for short-term non-credit special activities. It houses the Division of Community & Workforce Education, Continuing Education and Outreach, the Division of Media Resources, Eastern's radio WEKU, television KTLN, and Administrative Information Services. |
