Sullivan Hall
Sullivan Hall was named for Jere A. Sullivan (1862-1931), a Central University
graduate and prominent attorney who supported the establishment of normal
schools in Kentucky. He also served on Eastern's board of regents. Dedicated
in 1909, with the annex being added in 1913, Sullivan is a coed residence
hall that houses 161 men and women and is reserved for nontraditional, honors, and
graduate students. The campus infirmary (now in the
Rowlett Building) was located in the basement of
this dorm for many years.
This air-conditioned hall features spacious rooms
with wooden floors, large windows, and a community bath on each of the hall's four floors.
