Telford Hall

Telford Hall, a womens dormitory, is named for Miss Brown E. Telford of Richmond, a retired member of the music faculty, where she dedicated 44 years teaching piano and organ before her retirement in 1962.

Telford Hall, constructed in 1969, is an air-conditioned 13-story building for 650 women. The suite-styled rooms feature an adjoining bath shared by four women. Each floor has a shampoo room, community bathtub and study room. Four elevators serve the hall. Special purpose floors include, four floors for EKU social sororities, a Non Smoking and a 24-Hour Quiet and Non Smoking floor.
